What used to get me multiple likes and tons of replies has turned into diddly-squat within the past 2-3.5 years. I decided to write a note to twitter in the hopes they can resolve this issue. I do believe people are “shadowbanned” on twitter, and I do believe certain people are placed on “limited view” lists that compromise how many people actually see their tweets. My fear with “writing into the help center” is that my message will fall into a deep void of unopened and unread messages and my issue will never be resolved.
So, I’ve decided to share with you all the note I sent to twitter in the hopes that they resolve this issue:
“Hi Twitter, I'm a human rights activist from the Pacific and I fear there has been something happening to my twitter account that is affecting how many people view my tweets. Engagement has dropped in the past 2-3 years and I believe I may be suffering from some type of algorithm misnomer. Can somebody please look into this and please lift me from any lists that could be affecting my tweets, or lift any potential blockages that have been placed on my account that are preventing me from spreading my message of progressing human rights? Thank you!”
Fingers and toes y’all, fingers and toes!
